Description
What happens when you die? Black Shuck is an epic browser based roleplaying game based loosely upon Dante Alighieri's "The Divine Comedy" and the afterlife in general. Wherever the fates lead us let us follow.
So you have gone and gotten yourself killed. Or perhaps you died peacefully in your sleep. Whatever your story may have been, it doesn't really matter you're dead now.
Black Shuck is not Hell. Nor is it Heaven. Of course, you may come across some in your travels that will try to argue this with you. So what exactly is Black Shuck then? To put it simply, The Shuck is an infinite world. A realm where all dead souls collect once they have lived out their lives.
Some may find Black Shuck not much different from the world which they parted from. Forests, mountains, cities, cars, trains, planes... they all belong to The Shuck. However, what they may find disturbing is the way that time loops. Days repeat themselves. The weather never changes. If it rains at 5:09 PM over the town square; it will rain over the town square at that exact same time... every single day. Like a broken record, Black Shuck is doomed to forever repeat.
